Elegant clip-on earrings, from the 1961 collection, in silver-plated metal with large round brilliant crystal in yellow quartz colour. The collection was named 'Slim Look' and was an absolute hit. It was Marc Bohan's first collection for Dior, succeeding Yves Saint Laurent. Colourful crystals decorated the jewellery. The New York Times wrote for the collection: "Champagne glasses were broken. The shouting and clapping caused chaos in the elegant salon. It was a complete triumph for the designer."
