The owner of KAPEL’S, Vassiliki Kapelou, has experience in jewellery, fashion and fine arts from her years working in Paris in international auction houses and art galleries.
She was born into a very fashionable family where all women were self-confident and dressed feminine and stylish. Stunning fashion jewellery was the centre of every of their outfits, making it stand out. She grew up in the 1980s and 1990s, when fashion was iconic, bold, sensual, and colourful, and French and Italian designers were at the pick of their creations.
Vassiliki has a Bachelor’s of Science Degree in Product Design Engineering from Westminster University in London, a professional formation in Gemmology from the Institut National de Gemmologie (ING) in Paris and has completed a Formation in Histoire de l’Art at the École de Louvre in Paris.
She was the Head of Department in Judicial Successes and Inventories and was in charge of auction preparations for different art departments in Paris. She has also worked in commerce, marketing and sales for international companies.
