How do colours affect our mood?
Colour can play an important role in creating moods and even influencing people's decisions. When you understand what colours mean and what reactions they can elicit you can choose the look you want to present, both personally and professionally, to achieve the desired results. Colour theory explains the emotional and psychological connotations between colours and emotions.
Colour is a powerful tool for communication and one of the ways we identify ourselves. Our colour choice serves as a signal to others.
Reds, oranges and yellows can boost your mood. Green and blue colours can help you relax. When these colours are separated into different shades, each one takes on a different meaning. Lighter colours can promote a calmer, softer posture, whereas bolder colours can elicit more energy from the environment or from yourself.
We don’t need to wear purple from top to bottom to feel unique. Adding the right coloured accessory to your outfit is enough to make you feel confident.
By choosing the right colour you can project the image you want and understand what others might be saying to you. Wear pastels fearlessly and dare to wear bold colours!
