1950s Lapis blue dangle beads necklace and earrings
 
Exceptional necklace and earring set with lapis blue speckled art glass and gold tone dangle beads. These beautiful beads were created using glass that included the gorgeous colour combination of blue with multicolored "splattered" glass. The beads are caged in gold swirls and placed in a gold-plated mounting. Clusters of dangling pomegranate beads ending with a little crystal that provides motion and interest complete the design. A magnificent and highly collectible set. The American costume jewellery line by Christian Dior was to be "executed" by the Kramer Jewelry Co., known for the high quality jewellery, it was revealed in April 1951. Every year, Mr. Dior would create two collections with about 125 pieces each. The jewellery was displayed with Dior's ready-to-wear New York collection.
