Exceptional brooch from 1961 in dome shape in silver-plated metal covered by cognac brilliant-shaped crystals. The collection was named 'Slim Look' and was an absolute hit. It was Marc Bohan's first collection for Dior, succeeding Yves Saint Laurent. The brooches decorated the clothes, the belts, and the hats. The New York Times wrote for the collection: "Champagne glasses were broken. The shouting and clapping caused chaos in the elegant salon. It was a complete triumph for the designer."
