A wonderful Coro Duette emerald brooch and double dress clip. An Art Déco design set with baguette and oval glass stones entirely embellished with brilliants on a silver setting. The two clips can be removed from the central brooch and can be worn as a single or double clip to decorate the neckline of a dress, the collar of a shirt, the buttonholes of a coat or a pocket of a jacket. Both the brooch and the clips are numbered. Founded in 1901 in New York, the Coro brand became a symbol of American pop culture due to the exceptional quality of its jewellery. Its style is characterised by the use of colourful rhinestones and nature-inspired motifs. Coro was the inventor of the Duette patent, a mechanism that allows two clips to be combined into a single brooch.
