Autumn/Winter 1986/87, Haute Couture Collection, 'Evening Glamour'. A superb necklace made of large brilliants with a textured gold butterfly embellished with two marquise crystals and a white pearl by Maison Goossens. The collection was characterised as poetic by the press, where fauna was its main characteristic and gold the principal colour. The butterfly in the collection was used by Yves Saint Laurent as the symbol of lightness, delicacy, elegance and fragility. The model in the picture wears gold butterfly earrings from the same collection for the magazine Elle France. Iconography: All rights reserved.
